About the Writer
Education
​
Brittany's higher education began in 2008 as an Elementary Education Major at Winthrop University in Rock Hill, SC. She has attended several institutions since including Trident Technical College, where she first began to take an interest in Creative Writing and Psychology. Upon receiving her Associates in Arts, she quickly enrolled at the College of Charleston where she found herself studying Geology. Her journeys later took her to Las Vegas, where she attended UNLV. Her decision to continue in the field of Education presented her with the opportunity to work with diverse groups of children for 2 years. Brittany is currently enrolled at SUU in Cedar City, Utah where she is working toward a Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a minor in Family Life and Human Development.
Creative Interests

Brittany has a wide range of interests ranging from literature to video games, and draws much of her inspiration for writing from these things. Some of her favorite authors include Jane Austen, Edgar Allan Poe, J.K. Rowling, Robert Frost, J.R.R. Tolkien, and Robert Jordan. Some genres of music that she most appreciates for inspiration are World, Electronic, Folk, and Reggae. The Witcher and Dragon Age video games are a great source of inspiration for her writings and ignite her imagination. As a full time college student and intellectual, Brittany finds purpose in meshing her hobbies with her academic life. Fictional fantasy combined with aspects of subjects such as psychology, sociology, anthropology, etc. help her to create rich characters and content within her writing.

Personal Life
​
Brittany lives in the western United States with her family, a rowdy German Shepherd, and three feline friends. Much of her free time is spent writing and thinking about writing.
